Scratch

The start of a new term and a new group of children, all keen to try something new.  Our first club night, we spent the whole time looking at Scratch, which is a programming language.  It makes it easy to create your own interactive stories, animations, games, music, and art -- and share your creations on the web..  We started by making the basic 'Sprite' move, and then modified it as we explored the software. We enjoyed the commands we built up to make our animatin work, everyone got something different.
